The Ascent Series is power by the same head units that power the Pro Series and feature the same pinless design. However, unlike the Pro-Series the Ascent heads are fixed to the unit and feature an internal separator baffle which is great for lighter materials like sawdust and for materials that enter the vacuum in a liquified state in operations like epoxy removal. The heads themselves are identical on the outside and it’s on the inside where the difference is found. The most noticeable difference is the power plant driving the different models.
