The dust left in an indoor fire range at the end of the day is a serious concern from both a health and safety standpoint. The accumulation of lead particulate presents a challenge from the health side and presents a regulatory concern as well. That is why we recommend the PRO Series with the Integrated Floor Sweep for firing ranges. The Integrated Floor Sweep makes cleaning up the lead and powder residue quick and easy. For an extra layer of protection use the 550H which features our Dual-Stage HEPA Filtration. With two sets of HEPA filters one on the intake side and another on the exhaust side providing the best HEPA level filtration available.
Lead Paint & Asbestos Abatement
Lead paint and Asbestos removal present unique challenges for both dedicated abatement contractors and general contractors who run into these materials on the job site. From personal exposure issues to the regulatory concerns from OSHA and the EPA. For those trying to comply with regulations like the EPA RRP rule the level of scrutiny required is high. Pulse-Bac has dust collection and clean-up solutions specifically tailored to abatement tasks. The models recommended in the table below both feature our Dual-Stage Certified HEPA filtration system. This means that the air taken in by the vacuum passes through an individually tested and Certified HEPA Filter in front of the motor and the air exhausted from motor passes through an additional individually tested and Certified HEPA Filter. This ensures that when you’re dealing with toxic/hazardous materials like lead paint and asbestos that you get the maximum level of filtration. In fact, third-party testing of the 550H showed that our 2 stage filtration system actually provided 99.99% @ 0.3µm filtration, exceeding the standard.
Industry & Manufacturing
Manufacturers face a diverse set of challenges when they approach controlling dust generated from the various processes involved in producing their products. Whether it’s controlling dust from a saws, lathes, mills, cnc machines or others tools or simply trying to keep the facility free of remnant dust.

General Construction
General Contractors do it all and clean up is crucial to maintaining a safe job site and keeping customers happy. So at the end of the day, they don’t need a vacuum that clogs while they’re trying to get work done. The versatility of a Pulse-Bac vacuum delivers productivity no matter how a contractor needs it, a dust collector for cutting drywall or grinding concrete, catching the trimmings from a table saw, miter saw or job site clean up at the end of the day. No matter how it’s used, Pulse-Bac can keep up so the contractor can finish up.
Concrete Masonry & Tuck Pointing
When it comes to concrete and masonry, controlling the dust is a critical situation. Not just to avoid the negative health effects caused by the silica dust concrete and masonry materials produce, but to stay outside of the reach of OSHA and their updated silica rules. Under Table 1 of the new rule, common power tools have specific regulations that must be followed when being used to work with materials like concrete, mortar, and brick. Among two of the most important being the amount of CFM your vacuum must have based on the tool being used and the type of vacuum you must have when grinding, sanding, cutting or breaking materials that contain silica. Below are several models that comply with the OSHA Silica Rule and recommendations. Remember if you plan on taking the simpler route and using Table 1 to comply with the new rule OSHA has set forth rules governing the type of vacuums that can be used and recommendations like using a vacuum that has an automatic reverse pulse cleaning mechanism like those found in Pulse-Bac vacuums.
Wood Flooring Installation & Refinshing
As a wood flooring contractor you know it is important to keep the dust out of the customer’s home or office and how crucial it is to have a dust free floor before applying finish.
When it comes to controlling dust the classic solution of tarps and plastic sheeting only protect what they cover. Using a vacuum to collect the dust at its source is a much more practical solution. Vacuums have typically had a few problems that have made them less appealing in the past. Cheif among these is that the fine dust from sanding will quickly clog the filter forcing you to shake it clean. This costs time that could be spent finishing the job, so you can move on to the next one. This lost time adds up in the long run and affects your bottom line. Pulse-Bac offers a better solution. Pulse-Bac is the Original and Patented Self-Cleaning Vacuum. It’s patented Automatic Pulse-Clean Technology cleans the filter while you work using only simple physics, no compressor or pre-separator needed.
When using a vacuum to capture dust from tools like Drum Sanders, Buffers, Edgers, and Random Orbit Sanders Pulse-Bac delivers unmatched performance. Plus, Pulse-Bac HEPA Certified dust vacuums are compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations for the removal of Lead Paint, Asbestos, and Wood. So Pulse-Bac has your back no matter what the job is.
Surface Prep, Polished Concrete & Terrazzo
Surface Preparation professionals face some of the toughest challenges when it comes to dust collection. The fine, abrasive nature of dust from concrete and other hard surfaces like terrazzo present a number of technical challenges. Not to mention the new regulatory requirements that have been placed on contractors with the advent of OSHA’s new Silica Dust Standard.
